United Flight 93 showed what we can do when put in extreme situations. Our nation admired those heroes and learned a difficult lesson. Americans will no longer sit passively by and wait for a hijacked plane to land in Cuba. In a poll of 400 airline passengers, conducted after September 11, Strategic Vision found flyers are willing to join the effort to take down hijackers, and most are willing to lead the effort. While 93% of these flyers expect further terrorist attacks, if it is in the air it will meet with extreme resistance. "Future hijackers would find themselves facing an airplane full of counter-terrorists willing to use blankets, pillows, purses, pens, bags from the overhead and seat cushion floatation devices in defense of their plane," Susan Johnson noted. Nothing will deter their counter-attack Ü not promises, not knives, not guns. The survey was part of an-going cross section of Americans initiated in 1979. The survey measures the emotional climate and core values of Americans for government and business. Strategic Vision, Inc. is a California Corporation, founded by Dr. Darrel Edwards, J. Susan Johnson, and Sharon Shedroff -- all psychologists. Dr. Edwards is the founder of ValueCentered Psychology. The current portion of the survey was initiated by Dr. Edwards and conducted between September 25th and November 2nd. Passengers responses:
