Checking that a message really came from us
We cannot tell you whether a particular message is genuine without seeing it, and you should be careful about assuming any message is legitimate. What we can tell you is what we will never do.
We will never ask you for a payment, a password, a Social Security number, or a bank or credit card number. We will never ask you to pay anything to enter a sweepstakes or to claim a prize. We will never ask you to send money, gift cards, or account details for any reason.
If a message claiming to be from Strategic Vision asks for any of those, it did not come from us. Please call us and tell us about it.
If you want to confirm an invitation before responding to it, call 1-800-528-3299 and we will check it for you. A person answers.
How did Strategic Vision get my information?
We receive contact details from information provided directly from the vehicle manufacturer, or through companies that provide vehicle registration data from publicly available sources. We use that information for research purposes only.
Your name is used to contact you and to enter you in the sweepstakes. All of your identifying information is removed from your responses. We do not sell your information, and we will not contact you to sell you anything.
If your information is incorrect, email us or call 1-800-528-3299 and we will correct our records. Bear in mind the manufacturer likely holds the same details, and those need correcting separately.
Why your answers matter
As automotive manufacturers work to make better products, they look to owners for guidance. Your feedback also helps determine the winners of our annual Quality, Value and Love awards.
Your responses are anonymous, so you are free to be completely honest. This survey does not come from your dealership, even though it asks about your sales experience.

Strategic Vision Annual Survey Sweepstakes
We give out the following prizes among those who complete the New Vehicle Experience Study (NVES), or other qualifying studies. Anyone who participates in NVES or another qualifying survey can enter into the drawing to win.
- One First Prize – $10,000
- Two Second Prizes – $500
- Ten Third Prizes – $250

Previous winners
Prizes are awarded, and we think you should be able to see that for yourself. Winners are selected and presented with their prizes in accordance with the official rules of the sweepstakes they entered. We publish first name, last initial, city and state. We do not publish who won which prize.

The Pumpkin Spice Everything Sweepstakes
If you received an email invitation to complete an NVES survey between October 5 and October 15, 2026, which referenced the Pumpkin Spice Everything Sweepstakes, you were automatically entered into a drawing for a $1,000 electronic gift card by completing the survey, or by the alternate method of entry described in the rules. The End of Summer Sweepstakes
The End of Summer Sweepstakes: (September 4 – September 30, 2026) has ended. No invitations were issued, and no eligible entries were received, so no drawing was conducted, and no prize was awarded. The Official Rules are available here.
The Driver's Seat Lap 3 Sweepstakes

If you received an invitation offering entry into a drawing for a $1,000 gift card if you completed the survey on the day the invitation was received, and the eligibility period ended on May 9, 2026, those sweepstakes rules are here.

If you received an invitation that referenced winning one of a series of gift cards in a May 19, 2026 drawing, you can find those sweepstakes rules here.
Please note that all respondents who completed a New Vehicle Experience Study (NVES) survey are also entered into the Strategic Vision Survey Sweepstakes as well as any additional sweepstakes during their eligibility period.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. All sweepstakes winners are notified by mail according to the rules of the sweepstakes they entered.
The charity donation
Separately from the sweepstakes prizes, Strategic Vision donates $10,000 to national charities. People who take the survey choose which charity they would like a portion of that $10,000 to go to. Every charity that receives at least one percent of the vote is eligible for a share of the donation.
The choices are the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society, the ASPCA, the Autism Society of America, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and the USO. You can also name a different national charity of your choice.
How many surveys will I get?
Typically one: a single survey invitation about your recent vehicle purchase, and possibly one reminder if we have not heard from you. If you do not respond, we will not contact you again about that vehicle. Each question you answer helps shape what manufacturers build next.
The survey cannot be completed by phone. Completing it online is the best way to make sure your experience is captured correctly.
I would rather not take part
That is entirely your choice and there is no penalty of any kind.
We include unsubscribe links at the top and/or bottom of our survey invitations. Click on any of those to be added to our Do Not Contact list. You can also simply delete the invitation, or call us and ask to be removed.
Please note that other survey companies operate independently of us, so unsubscribing from our list does not stop contact from anyone else.
